The Energy Managers Forum was held as part of the annual Energy Efficiency Week.
The main thing at such forums is to communicate with government authorities and communities to confirm or refute your own conclusions.
What you need to pay attention to:
❇️If a community plans to attract public funds for energy modernization, you need to have a working energy management system and a Local Energy Plan.
❇️If a community wants to use the MEP as a tool, you need to involve an energy manager in budget formation.
❇️ UNDP and UDEPP projects have created tools to help with the preparation of Local Energy Plans.
If communities really plan to use energy resources effectively, you can find support for this in training staff, preparing documents, and finding co-financing.
